Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as it is necessary to provide the AmanBaik services, maintain the security of the platform, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Our general retention practices are as follows:

• Account and profile information: Retained while the user’s account remains active.
• Ride, booking, transaction, and payment-related records: May be retained for up to five years after the relevant transaction or ride, where required for accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
• Location information: Location information associated with a ride may be retained for up to twelve months after completion of the ride for safety, customer support, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
• Customer-support communications: May be retained for up to three years after the support request is closed.
• Technical and security records: Technical logs, device information, crash information, and security records may be retained for up to twelve months.
• Encrypted backups: Data stored in encrypted backup systems may remain for up to ninety days before being automatically deleted or overwritten.

Account and Data Deletion

When a verified account-deletion request is received, we will delete or permanently anonymize personal data that is not required for legitimate legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

The deletion request will normally be processed within seven business days.

Some information may be retained for a longer period where required by applicable law, a court order, regulatory requirements, an unresolved legal claim, fraud investigation, outstanding payment, or safety investigation.

Access to retained information is restricted, and the information will be securely deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention period expires.
